Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel

The Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel is situated immediately outside the entrance to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

The Hotel is ideally located for tourists wanting to be close to the city centre, and also for business clients, as the hotel sits opposite the city convention centre. The hotel has its own shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront.

This is a first-class hotel, with a very pleasant open plan entrance, which houses the reception desk, car hire and concierge desk, modern welcoming bar and a choice of two restaurants.

The whole area is fitted with dark wood panelling, comfortable modern chairs and sofas and lots of black & white framed pictures of South Africa on the walls, giving it a stylish contemporary feel. The outdoor swimming pool has loungers for guests, and food and drink can be ordered here.

The decor in all the rooms are modern, with light wood furnishings and light colours.

Breakfast is served on the ground floor, and guests can either eat inside or outside. There is also a top-class restaurant offering an ala carte menu and a wide selection of South African wines. There is also a small cellar with a collection of wines and a cigar lounge.
