Elgin Open Gardens
3 - 4 and 10 - 11 November
Elgin, Grabouw
See 25 open gardens which range from large established country gardens (some over 50 years old), to young, recently planted gardens in villages and on smallholdings.
Many gardens will have plants for sale, and some will also offer teas and light meals and wine tastings the gardens themselves. Many of the local cellars on the Elgin Wine Route will also be having wine tastings.

Discovery Cape Times Big Walk

The Discovery Cape Times Big Walk consists of 10 different routes starting at different points in the Cape Peninsula with all paths leading to Rhodes High School in Mowbray. The routes vary from 80km to 5km with proceeds going to selected charities.
