Cost: R60 unless otherwise indicated; R20 for students at the door. These prices include a substantial donation to the FLF Library Fund.

Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival

Where: Baxter Concert Hall, Rondebosch
Cost: From R35 for scholars to R60 for adults

A community outreach project in support of music education in big band jazz for school and college students. Proceeds from the Festival go towards a scholarship at SA College of Music, sponsorship to the Beau Soleil Music for Africa Trust and sponsorship of a music teacher at Manenberg High School for their Steelband Project, as well as donations to participating bands and other music initiatives. |  |
Talk: A Tale of Two Tides - Dalebrook

Where: Dalebrook – a marine reserve between St James and Kalk Bay.
