Houtstok is an annual Afrikaans music festival held in the Malmesbury ditrict.

The theme this year is - Peace, Afrikaans and Freedom.
Artists performing on the impressive 35m stage with three giant screens, include:
Kurt Darren, Steve Hofmeyr, Eden, Nadine, Nicholas Louw, Dozi, tot FokofPolisiekar, Clive Bruce, Ray Dylan en Romanz.

Teddy Town

The official beneficiary, The TygerBear Foundation (www.tygerbear.org.za) will have an area where children from 6 months to 12 years will be entertained and looked after. Activities include jumping castles and magicians.

Accommodation

Camp Houtstok Style

Pay R850 for a 2-man tent, 2 cushions, 2 matrasses and 2 sleeping bags which you keep after the festival.
Ablution facilities are provided.

Own tent or caravan

For only R150 per night, ablution facilities and 24-hour security are provided. (First come basis)

Entertainment

Other activities include:
ScadDiving ? 50m freefall
Mechanical Bull
Water Walkers on the Dam
100m Slip & slide into dam!

Park and Drive

Park and drive facilities will be available from the following three shopping centres:
Tyger Valley
Canal Walk
Stellenbosch - Neelsie via Paarl Mall
