Butterfly WorldButterfly World is a tropical garden in a 1000 square meter green house where exotic butterflies can fly freely.Up to 800 butterfly pupae are imported per week all year round.They come from countries such as Costa Rica, Philippines, Malaysia and China.
The hatchery where you can watch the butterflies hatching The Butterflies are most active on a sunny day. (It is also very humid then - so take something to drink)On overcast days however, you can see (and photograph) the resting butterflies up close.
The Martin Filmer Spider Room displays indigenous and exotic spiders and scorpions. There is also an iguana cage showing them off in a tropical environment.
