Stellenbosch Vista Trail Run and family Fun Run

Hit the Stellenbosch mountain trails this autumn in the Stellenbosch Vista Trail Run and Family Fun Run.

Serious trail runners can relish the opportunity to test themselves on the scenic Vista 12km Trail Run.
Families can enjoy the mountain views at a more leisurely pace in the 5km Fun Run.

The Routes

Both routes start at Coetzenburg athletic stadium, cross sport fields and continue onto the lower slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain.
The long course winds through fynbos, eucalyptus, pine and indigenous forest offering views over Stellenbosch, False Bay and Table Mountain.
Runners can expect a wide variety of surfaces, ranging from technical single tracks to level jeep tracks and grass.

Entry Fees

Pre-entries:
12km route: R40 for licensed athletes and R50 for unlicensed athletes, plus the normal EntryTime admin fee.
5km route: R15.

Late entries:
12km route: R60 for licensed athletes and R70 for unlicensed athletes
5km route: R25.

Beneficiaries

Stellenbosch Vista 2010 is presented by Gereformeerde Kerk Stellenbosch in association with Stellenbosch Athletics Club according to the rules of Boland Athletics and Athletics South Africa, for the sole benefit of two children's charities, Anna Foundation (Stellenbosch) and Pres Kruger orphanage (Reddersburg).
