Tell us more about Horizon Travel – what you do and what do you specialize in?I started Horizon Travel in March 2007 when I joined e-Travel to pursue a dream of having my own business.
With then 11 years of travel experience and the passion I have for travel I knew that this would be a success.
Having my own business gives me the edge over many employed travel agents. I have the passion, drive and commitment to make sure that each and every client gets the best service possible.
I realize that the best part of traveling isn’t booking your ticket and accommodation – it’s going on the trip.
I can assist you with any aspect of travel, Corporate or Leisure. I will make your flight bookings, accommodation, car hire, order foreign exchange, assist with visa applications and give all the travel advice you may require.
When-ever and where-ever, Horizon Travel will make your travel dreams come true.
One spot in Cape Town where you relax – any place. My house. I just love spending time at home with the kids.
If you had one day to show a friend from overseas something in Cape Town, where will you take him and why?Definitely the
V&A Waterfront. It is the gateway to
Robben Island and you can take a cruise to see the most beautiful beaches at
Camps Bay &
Clifton.

Clifton Beach
Table Mountain is also a must as well as
Kirstenbosch Gardens for a picnic or even a summer night concert.
A big hit is also swimming with the penguins at
Boulders Beach in Simonstown…the kids LOVE it.
Then of course there is Blouberg Beach with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and a wide selection of Restaurants at Eden on the Bay.
Not to be forgotten is a day to do Wine tasting.
We are really spoiled for choice and no matter where you go you will always taste fastastic wines.
Franschhoek is also the culinary capital of Cape Town and no matter where you go to eat you will not be disappointed. Rueben’s is my favourite restaurant.

As you can see, there is SO much to see and do in Cape Town. ONE Day is not enough to experience all that Cape Town can offer!!!!
What is your favourite restaurant and which dish do you enjoy?Depending on the occasion it is one of the following:
- Moyo at Eden on the Bay – Lamb tagine
- Five Flies - Roast saddle of lamb on pea and mint puree, white beans and caramelized onions with morel jus
- Signal at the Gape Grace Hotel – any scallops, risotto – their menu changes seasonally. You will not be disappointed at Signal
- Da Vinci’s on Kloof – great pizza’s and their burgers are craveable
- Café Royal on Long Street – the BEST burgers in town!!!
If you must choose one wine for a special occasion, what would it be?I am not a wine connoisseur but if I have to choose it will always be Red Wine - something like Nederburg Duet or KWV Roodeberg.
