What to do in Cape Town?

Cape Town is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And to think it is my hometown!

I've built this site to share with you what it is that makes me proud to be a Capetonian.

I will be telling you about the well known attractions AND some lesser known gems.

When I started building this site, I was contemplating to whom my audience would be ... fellow Capetonians or visitors, both from abroad and from other provinces.

Well, against my better judgment, to share with one specific target market, I decided to try and please everyone.

I want the visitors from abroad to come to South Africa, to see what a wonderful country we have. And hopefully Cape Town will be a lovely entry point into the country.

Visitors from other parts of the country, have their special places they visit whenever in town, but would it not be great to have some more choices? ... To broaden the horizon.

Last but not the least; I want my fellow citizens to enjoy this wonderful city to the fullest.

This site is the product of having lived here for my whole life. I'll be sharing:

• Where you can sleep with lions, see fish swimming in a kelp forest or watch exotic butterflies hatch.
• Where to find South Africa's premier art museum or see exhibitions of local artists.
• Where to eat fish and chips on the harbour wall or have a picnic on a tree shaded lawn.
• Where to watch birds or watch the stars and planets of the Southern Hemisphere.

The best thing for me whilst building the site, is to revisit some great places and even better, to find new ones.
