Activities

Game Drives

On the game drive you will see blue wildebeest, zebra, springbok, ostrich, bontebok and eland.

The daily game drive is from 10:00 to 12:00 and includes a bush brunch or light lunch at the Bush Deli.

Special rates apply to scholars.

Team building activities include obstacle courses, treasure hunts and high and low ropes.

Accommodation

Accommodation are provided in either a tented camp or in a cottage:

Tented Camp
This is Cape Town’s only luxury tented camp and consists of 18 tents with en-suite bathrooms and is situated in a poplar forest.
Eland and wildebeest can often be seen drinking water at the stream flowing near the tents.

Cottages
Self-catering or fully inclusive packages are available in four cottages with 10 luxury en-suite rooms.

There are 3 conference facilities, The Shed, The Barn with its relaxed atmosphere and indoor braai area and The Board Room for groups of 15 and less.

Functions

There are four different function venues:

The Cellar is an old wine cellar which has been converted into an intimate, rustic function venue for small groups of between 15 and 30 guests.
The Barn is ideal for presentations and informal braais for groups of between 40 and 80 guests.
The Lapa is situated in our game camp and guests are driven to The Lapa in the game viewing truck.
The Bush Deli (also know as The Deck) in the Poplar Bush at our Tent Camp is ideal for groups of between 10 and 40 guests.

Clara Anna Fontein has become a popular location for film and photo shoots.

Sets used include:

African huts, Masai village, Ndebele village, open savanna, poplar forest, tented camp, safari vehicle, dam, attic, 30 ha grass, island on dam, African vegetation.
