Zevenwacht Wine Estate

Zevenwacht Wine Estate is situated on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, just outside the town of Kuils River.

The vineyards cover approximately 200 hectares of the 450 hectare property. The vineyards are ideally situated for the growing of quality grapes.

The tastefully decorated restaurant is located within a 19th Century Cape Dutch Manor House. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers a magnificent view of the lake and gardens.

Picnic baskets are served on tree-shaded lawns sloping down to the lake. Enjoy a selection of bread and biscuits, cold meats, cheeses and salads or pre-book a braai basket and cook your own meal over vine wood fires.

A play park is available for children.

The estate also houses a chef school.
Full time Professional Chef’s Courses, as well as short courses for housewives and cookery enthusiasts, are available.
Courses are internationally recognised and are based on the British City and Guilds.

The students are able to experience all aspects of catering by working in the on-site restaurant and various other restaurants operated by the group.

The Mangwanani Private African Day Spa on the Estate grounds, offers the opportunity to be pampered to the hilt.
