South Africa's biggest regional wine festival wit wineries from Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson hosting extra activities to wine tasting, which includes outdoor, sport, adventure, family-fun, kiddo stuff, live music and fine dining.


The Greyton Genadendal Classics for All Festival

The focus of the festival is on classical music concerts, but there will also be workshops for children, art exhibitions, wine tastings and various food events.

Eight concerts will be performed in the historic churches of Greyton and Genadendal, as well as in smaller venues in these two neighbouring villages.


Soup, Sip and Bread Winter Fest

Nine wine farms in the Durbanville Wine Valley host the Soup, Sip and Bread winter event, providing home-made soups and just-baked artisanal bread perfectly matched with red wine from the valley’s cellars.
All served up with live music in a rustic, country-side setting.

A favourite way to spend a weekend morning is to visit one of the regular Cape Town Markets sprouting up all over the Peninsula.

It's a nice way to slow down and experience some local and home-made goodies.

Here you could buy anything home-made; from dolls to breads to curries to preserves to... Too much to mention.


Attraction of the Month - The S.A. Museum and Planetarium
