Buffelsfontein
Buffelsfontein Game & Nature Reserve is a private game reserve situated on the R27 in the heart of the West Coast, approximately an hour's drive from Cape Town.Accommodation The accommodation units are situated near waterholes, so you can sit back whilst waiting for a unique game viewing opportunity. Units consist of 5 full-board cottages with accommodation for 4 people, a self-catering guesthouse with accommodation for 20 people and 4 self-catering chalets. 
The Full Board Cottages (Photo by DanieVDM) Conferences The conference facility is very spacious, air-conditioned and fully equipped with standard conference equipment. They cater for a variety of team-building activities, such as: - Game Drives - Catch & Release fishing - Clay pigeon shooting - Target shooting - Tug of war - Volley ball - Pool volley ball - Treasure Hunt Functions and Weddings You can choose between an outside ceremony on the lawn opposite the spring or have the ceremony inside the Lapa that overlooks the spring. Different buffets are offered. 
The Conference Centre (Photo by DanieVDM) Game DrivesThe game drives are daily at 09h00 & 14h00 and lasts between 2-3 hours. Game you can expect to see on a drive, include: Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Kudu, Eland, Oryx (Gemsbok), Bontebok, Springbok, Duiker, Steenbok and Caracal. 
Wildebeest (Photo by DanieVDM) Day Trips The Day Trip Safari includes the transportation to and from Buffelsfontein, breakfast on arrival, game drive with refreshments and lunch (A la Carte or buffet). Trips start from pre-arranged locations around the City Bowl area, Waterfront and Atlantic seaboard areas. 4 X 4 Route The 4 x 4 route is situated in sand dunes and can be a surprisingly pleasant challenge for all 4 x 4 lovers. Bush Camp They have a bush camp in the dunes where they supply the tents and the bedding. There is running water, showers with hot water and flush toilets. In the camp there is a braai area but there is no electricity.
