Activities

Game Drives
Morning and evening game drives with qualified field rangers in open 4x4 vehicles. Game drives range between two and three hours which includes light snacks.

Horse-back Safari
The best way to see the animals is from horseback. You are not seen as a threat and are therefore able to get closer to most game.
Minimum age requirement is 16 yrs old with a maximum of 9 people per safari.
Duration: 2 hours

Lions, Aquila Private Game Reserve, Cape Town Quad bike Safari
Something different for the more adventurous.
Minimum age requirement is 16 yrs old with a maximum of 10 people per safari guided by two rangers.
Duration: 2 hours

Safaris

Several safari options are on offer enabling guests to experience the reserve in a way that best suits their schedules.

These include one day, overnight and fly-in safaris.

Accommodation

Premier Luxury Chalets - These are all privately situated and offer great views.

Luxury Chalets - These units are semi detached with attention paid to privacy.

All Chalets at Aquila have tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
Thatch, slate and natural rock elements are featured throughout, especially in the bathrooms.

Accommodation, Aquila Private Game Reserve, Cape Town Conference / Function

Conference and functions facilities for 40-80 guests are available.
The Conference Centre and Boma Restaurant & Cigar Bar are built from natural materials found on the Reserve to blend with the surrounding environment.
